Welcome to "la Buca" pizzeria and restaurant in the heart of Belluno. Since 1989 Giuseppe Cantale and his family have been cooking exellent pizzas and traditional fish and meat main courses, preparing everything with great care.

Our Philosophy

We like first-rate ingredients and we believe in Italy there are plenty of them: this philosophy is the basis of our work. A good pizza is a traditional Italian dish, representing Mediterranean cuisine, and our work is to make it with great passion, starting from the best choice of dough flour, through a careful dough-working and a long leavening, till final garnishment. We hope our passion will be repaid with your satisfaction.

Tradition and Innovation

Our speciality is pizza with so-called “principal yeast”, that is active natural yeast requiring two days of slow, natural leavening, once or twice daily cared to give the dough its flavour and a high digestibility.
